Our Story
Holston Flower Farm took root in the backyard of my historic home built in 1903 — the first house built in what’s now Bristol’s Holston Historic District. What began as a love of flowers quickly transformed our once-overgrown two acre yard into a vibrant urban farm, right in the heart of downtown.
After years spent working with farmers through music and television, I never expected to become a grower myself. The pull of the land—and the quiet joy of working with flowers—opened the door to a new chapter rooted in creativity, seasonality, and community.
Today, Holston Flower Farm offers hand-grown, specialty blooms through our CSA program, custom event florals, and our self-serve farm stand—now located inside Dragonfly Book Bar on State Street. Every bouquet shares a little piece of our story.
